Tour: Rez and Tell thinks MaxMoney sounds like a super villian!

Before I talk about the newest economic-based endeavor in SL I just want to let you all know that I'm giving up on the Friday Five until we have more of a reader base. Now, on with the show.

MaxMoney is the latest currency exchange to hit the grid. And now that XStreetSL has been annexed by Linden Labs, MaxMoney is becoming the go to place for residents who dislike way Linden Labs is leaning towards a monopoly. It's the largest independantly owned, U.S. Based currency exchange that has been approved by Linden Labs to use their Exchange Risk A.P.I. Formed by Maximilian March, of Max March Industries, MaxMoney's sim is a wonderful place to explore.

With a build by Scope Cleaver, the sim manages to feel both like a remote tropical island, untouched by man, and a futuristic oasis. The center of the sim features a large volcano, topped by the MaxMoney headquarters. The design of this "building" is reminiscent of one of the grand cable bridges, such as the golden gate. But with glass flooring.
The terraforming of the area was done by Poid Mahovlich, who provided both lush and barren areas, equally fun to explore. From waterfall lagoons, to rocky beaches, there's true beauty and heart put into Poid's work here.
Farther out from the island, the waters contain sharp rocky outbreaks, protecting the beaches from the ocean's rough waves. The sea sprays against the rocks are familiar imagery to those who grew up on the coast. The clear blue water hides what lies beneath, but you should definately seek it.
For under the waves is an ocean paradise, aglow with shiny schools of fish, glowing jellyfish, and even larger sea creatures. But be sure to watch out! While I was there, a shark bit me, thankfully I apparently didn't taste too good!
